Luisa Della Pietra is the Communications Specialist for the Bridging Divides research program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She leads strategic communications to amplify the reach and impact of community-engaged migration research, in coordination with colleagues across partner institutions.

With nearly a decade of experience in communications roles across higher education, research institutions, government, and the nonprofit sector, Luisa specializes in translating complex ideas into compelling narratives. Her work focuses on the intersection of research communications, public engagement, and content strategy.

She holds an MA in International Communications from Leeds Beckett University (UK) and a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from LUISS University (Italy).
