Awards
Students in Arts and Contemporary Studies (ACS) are eligible for a variety of academic scholarships and awards.
TMU offers many scholarships and awards, some of which are awarded automatically, and some of which require an application.
ACS Awards
- Top Student Award: Annual award for top student by CGPA in each year (1-4).
- Spirit of ACS Award: The Spirit of ACS Award is awarded to a student who displays the ‘spirit of ACS’; for the purpose of this award, a person who displays the ‘spirit of ACS’ is someone who is intensely and personally engaged with ideas, and who consistently displays a commitment to building community and to fostering interpersonal exchange (at any level and in any form).
- ACS Varsity Award: The ACS program attracts a significant number of TMU Varsity students who appreciate the flexible nature of the program. The ACS Varsity Award celebrates annually an ACS student with strong academic performance who participates in a Varsity sports team.
Faculty of Arts - Dean’s List
The Dean's List recognizes undergraduates who have achieved high academic standing over a term. Students on the Dean's List receive a congratulatory email from the Dean and your accomplishment will be noted on your transcript.
