In this 30-minute webinar, legal expert and Ryerson University (now named Toronto Metropolitan University) alumnus, Omar Ha-Redeye provides his top five tips for understanding your legal rights while dealing with the numerous changes that have resulted from the coronavirus pandemic.

Bio

Omar Ha-Redeye, Health Administration ’06 is a Toronto and Durham Region lawyer and legal academic. As the Executive Director of the Durham Community Legal Clinic, Omar focuses on providing public legal education and services to low-income residents. He received the Ted Rogers School of Management Teaching Award for Contract Lecturers at Ryerson University and was named the Best Blogger in a Group Blog or Platform by the Canadian Law Blog Awards (the Clawbies). He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for promoting access to justice and advocacy on behalf of marginalized and discriminated populations.

Omar holds an LLM in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, with coursework in Advanced Trial Advocacy.
