Description:

Join us for a virtual camp experience! Led by our Eureka! Camp counselors, this session includes:

  • an introduction to your experiment from a Toronto Metropolitan University student
  • a go-at-your-own-pace instructional video with Zoom support from your Instructor
  • and a chance to show off your creation, debrief about how it works, and test your knowledge in a fun game!

Schedule: 

Attendees will be split into two groups: 

  • 10:00AM - 11:00AM — Juniors (8 - 10 years old) 
  • 11:30AM - 12:30PM — Seniors (10 - 12 years old)

Experiment:

This month's experiment is Water Filtration

What is water filtration? Why do we filter water before drinking it? And what is a boiling water advisory?

The answers to these questions and so much more are waiting for you in this special Eureka! Weekends’ session where we'll use household supplies to design our own water filtration systems and further our understanding of water treatment.

Bring the young scientist in your life to this interactive virtual camp session, and you will be boiling with excitement!
