Nick Fan

Alumnus Nick Fan has volunteered as Club Supervisor of the TMU Dragon Boat Club for over 18 years. He has trained over a thousand students, several of whom have competed at the highest levels of the sport, representing Canada internationally. Under his leadership, the club remains one of the oldest and most successful competitive clubs in the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Nick established a mentorship program that has helped athletes become assistant coaches after graduating. His efforts have made the club one of the most diverse and accessible at TMU, welcoming athletes with little or no experience and transforming them into dragon boat veterans, leaders, and mentors, while also fostering countless lifelong friendships and relationships.
