Todd Young is a leader in Canada's aerospace industry. As the Vice President and General Manager of Turboprops at the Toronto site of Bombardier Aerospace, his responsibilities include overseeing the design, manufacture and delivery of all turboprop aircraft, as well as the assembly and delivery of the Global business aircraft produced by Bombardier. Each day, Mr. Young leads an organization of approximately 2,200 employees and works together with the Canadian Auto Workers, focusing on achieving manufacturing excellence. Mr. Young remembers one of the most important lessons he learned at Ryerson is the value of teamwork. As he strives to foster a culture of enhanced teamwork at Bombardier, his alma mater is never far from his thoughts.
