John Saunders, Psychology ’77
John Saunders has been one of the most visible faces on ABC Sports and ESPN for over 27 years. He has been network host of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and Finals, and host and play-by-play announcer for the NBA, including voice of the Toronto Raptors from 1995-2001. John was ESPN's original host of Major League Baseball covering the World Series and has had the same role on ABC College Football since 1992 hosting several National Championship Games. He has five Emmy Award nominations. Saunders was a member of the Ryerson hockey team from 1977-1978 and in 2013 was inducted into the Ryerson University Athletic Hall of Fame.
