Andrew Cividino grew up in Dundas, Ontario and attended the film production program at Ryerson. His short film We Ate the Children Last was selected by TIFF as one of Canada’s Top Ten shorts of 2011. Sleeping Giant, based on his 2014 Top Ten short of the same name, was one of only seven selected to be part of Cannes Critics’ Week in the feature-length category. Andrew’s film was also was featured at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Canadian First Feature Film.
