Brampton Innovator Program Wraps Up Second Cohort with Graduation Celebration
The Brampton Venture Zone proudly celebrated the graduation of the latest cohort from the Brampton Innovator Program—marking an exciting milestone for 26 aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs who have spent the past several weeks building, refining, and validating their ideas.
Designed to support founders at different stages of their journey, the program offered two distinct tracks to meet participants where they are:
The Entrecurious Track provided a welcoming entry point for individuals who are exploring entrepreneurship—whether they had an early-stage idea or were simply interested in learning, connecting with founders, and becoming part of the tech ecosystem. Through workshops, mentorship, and peer collaboration, participants gained a strong foundation in ideation, problem validation, and startup thinking.
The MVP Builder Track was tailored for founders with a prototype or near-minimum viable product (MVP). This stream focused on helping participants validate their solutions, refine their business models, and prepare to scale. Founders in this track engaged in deeper market analysis, customer discovery, and go-to-market strategy development.
A highlight of the graduation ceremony was the recognition of 10 founders who were selected to receive program grants—an investment that will support them as they continue building and growing their ventures beyond the program.
The event also featured special remarks from Suvid Ajmera (external link) of the Invest Brampton team at the City of Brampton, who spoke to the importance of fostering local innovation and supporting entrepreneurs at every stage. Attendees also heard from Zied Etleb (external link) , Senior Director of the Brampton Venture Zone, who emphasized the strength of the Brampton startup ecosystem and the role programs like this play in driving economic growth and community impact.
