FZ All Star Toni Marlow Donates $25,000 to Support Black Fashion Designers with Amazon Canada

FZ all star Toni Marlow announced that they will be donating $25,000 from their Amazon Canada Fashion grant to the Fashion Zone to support a new fashion award for Black fashion entrepreneurs at the FZ.

Fashion Zone success story Toni Marlow (external link)  has recently announced that they will be donating $25,000 from their Amazon Canada Fashion grant to the Fashion Zone to support a new fashion award for Black fashion entrepreneurs at the FZ.

Amazon Canada announced their #AmazonFashionVideoSeries (external link)  campaign that featured 6 emerging designers across the country and provided $25,000 grants for these designers to give back to a recipient of their choice within the fashion community. 

As one of the selected designers, Fashion Zone alumni Toni Marlow decided to select Fashion Zone as the recipient of their grant, which is currently being shaped into a new award at the Fashion Zone to support black fashion entrepreneurs.

An innovative undergarment brand founded by Jaymin Luces-Mendes in Toronto, Toni Marlow was created for women, trans men and non-binary people assigned female at birth. All of their products – including their best-selling TOM (Time of the Month) period boxers – use high-quality fabrics creating innovative pieces that embody inclusivity. Additionally, Toni Marlow donates $1 from every product sold towards suicide prevention initiatives.
