To: Meal plan holders

Congratulations on accepting your residence offer at Toronto Metropolitan University! As a meal plan holder, the entire TMU Eats team is excited to welcome you to our dining halls and campus eateries this fall!

Your unique dietary requirements are important to us

At TMU Eats, our aim is to provide you with healthy and nutritious meals that fuel your learning on campus. As we prepare for the semester ahead, we're asking you to complete a short questionnaire about your cuisine preferences, any individual food allergies, and dietary restrictions you may have. Your responses will help inform our menu planning and engagement activities.

Your responses to this questionnaire will be kept confidential and will not be shared outside of the TMU Eats team.

We are able to accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs

TMU Eats chefs design weekly menus that not only taste great, but also accommodate a wide variety of allergens and dietary considerations, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, and meals made without seven common allergens.

When you join us this fall, we encourage our students with allergies to check out the Sans Station in the Pitman Dining Hall. The Sans Station provides daily meal offerings made without dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts, sesame, shellfish and tree nuts during lunch and dinner service, seven days a week.

Please note that while we make every effort to avoid allergen cross-contact, our open kitchen settings mean there is still a risk of cross-contact with allergen-containing ingredients in our facilities.

Questions? Request a virtual consultation with our chefs

TMU Eats encourages all students with special dietary needs to meet and discuss the menu offerings with our Culinary team. You can reach us at tmueats@torontomu.ca.
