Discover Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) at TMU
In July 2025, the School of Medicine welcomed its first cohort of 105 residents. We have partnered with some of the GTA’s leading health systems and organizations to offer a diverse range of residency training sites through our clinical affiliates. Additional partnerships are being established with leading primary care practices in Brampton and surrounding areas.
As with our MD program, our residency programs will be rooted in community-driven care and cultural respect and safety, with EDI and health equity embedded throughout.
Congratulations on your residency position at the School of Medicine! We are thrilled to welcome you.
The PGME Office oversees the registration of all postgraduate learners appointed to a residency program. All new and returning residents are required to complete registration by following the steps outlined in respective sections.
If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact the PGME Office at pgme@torontomu.ca.
