New Media students have access to several workshops, studios, labs, and zones, which provide spaces to build and create, opportunities to brainstorm, and support for kickstarting projects. Get your hands dirty, learn technical skills, and make something great.

Makerspace is a workshop for all forms of "making". This drop-in space is open to all New Media students and is equipped with tables, workbenches and fabrication equipment.

The Work Shop is a dedicated space for students to prepare, work on, and create elements for their projects. It offers ample room for painting and is equipped with tools for woodworking and fabrication.

The Red Bull Gaming Hub focuses on innovation and new applications of video game design, virtual production, and esports broadcasting, while building educational, curricular, and extracurricular activities.

The Design + Technology LAB is a 8,300 sq ft. manufacturing workshop with state-of-the-art technology for creative fields like digital fabrication, 3D printing, textile computing, AR/VR, and robotics.

The Andy Kufluk Equipment Distribution Centre is a central equipment library where students can reserve space in production facilities and check out a wide range of technical equipment.

The Creative Enterprise Hub helps students turn their creative passions into successful careers. It's home to three zones: Design Fabrication Zone, Fashion Zone, and Transmedia Zone.

The Transmedia Zone (TZ) is a community focused incubator for innovation and creative experimentation in storytelling across entertainment media platforms.

The Assembly Gallery
The Assembly Gallery

From showcasing student displays to exhibiting research initiatives, The Assembly Gallery at The Creative School has launched as an interdisciplinary exhibition space that showcases work by students, faculty and alumni. Located on the main floor of the Image Arts building at 122 Bond St. in Toronto, this public-facing space allows for ideas and explorations to come to life.
