Fehmida Qaddus Rabbani
Fehmida Qaddus Rabbani is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the African Centre for Migration & Society (ACMS), Cluster of Research Excellence (CoRE): Migration and Health, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She completed her PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies at Wits University. Her research focuses on migration and health, climate-related migration, structural vulnerability, transnationalism, and urban inequalities, with a particular focus on South Asian migration. During her fellowship at the Global Migration Institute, she will undertake comparative research on migrant health and precarious labour among South Asian and African diasporas, contributing to comparative Global North–South migration and health scholarship.
