Study Spaces on Campus

Looking for a quiet space to study? Here are a few study spaces on campus.

Collaborative Group Work Room (CGWR)

CGWRs are for quiet discussion and for study purposes, found on floors 5, 7, and 8 in the SLC. The John A. Honderich Graduate Study Space (7th Floor) is exclusively reserved for Graduate Students. Book a CGWR here (external link) .

Graduate Student Study Room

Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows can access the SLC Graduate Study Room (SLC-713) using their OneCard. Nicknamed "The Forest", the seventh floor of the SLC also features a large Silent Study Room (SLC-720) and 30 bookable Collaborative and Group Work Rooms (CGWRs).

Low Sensory Study Lounge

The Study Lounge offers low-sensory study hours with dim lighting, fidget items, snacks and Peer Academic Coaching. Visit the Low Sensory Study Lounge website.

Library

Quiet and group study space is available throughout the Library, with the 10th floor reserved for silent study. You can also reserve Library group study rooms online.

Student Learning Centre (SLC)

Eight floors of dedicated student space catering to different study styles, from individual carrels to open collaborative spaces. Book a Collaborative Group Work Room (CGWR) at the SLC.

Welcome Lounge in the RAC

The Welcome Lounge in the Recreation & Athletic Centre (RAC) offers tables, booths and couch space - all with power outlets - to connect, study or unwind in a quiet space before or after getting active, or any time.
