Uchechukwu Ngwaba’s work focuses on global health, health systems and health governance frameworks, particularly in resource-constrained settings. He frequently engages the language of human rights in enquiries about how weak health systems can be strengthened to achieve better health outcomes. As a Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Uche pushed for the set up of a Health Law Centre which produced a number of important policy documents towards health reform in Nigeria.
