About the workshop:
Qualitative research often generates a great deal of rich and detailed information. To effectively interpret and analyze this information, the researcher must organize material in a systematic way. NVivo software is designed to help researchers organize, analyze and find insights in qualitative information and turn it into meaningful research findings.
This workshop covered:
- What is NVivo and when to use it
- What are the specific steps to learning NVivo
- Techniques for analyzing qualitative data
- How to run queries
- How to present and visualize research findings
How this workshop was delivered:
The in-person workshop took participants through all the essential steps of organizing and analyzing information collected through qualitative research using the NVivo software. Participants had the opportunity to practice coding qualitative data, identifying key themes and analyzing the coded data through interactive exercises using NVivo. Detailed instructions for these exercises were provided to participants in advance of the workshop.
