Force of Fashion Launches with Sophie Boulanger, CEO of BonLook
Last week, the Fashion Zone at Ryerson University (external link) launched Force of Fashion: a new live interview series featuring top Canadian talent from the fashion and business industries sharing their success stories.
With the goal to create a bridge and dialogue between the student community and all-star Canadian businesses, the first episode be bringing in Sophie Boulanger, CEO of BonLook (external link) and Chelsea Klukas, CEO of Lumen Couture (external link) , to share their story.

Founded in 2011 by Sophie and her brother, BonLook now has 30 boutiques, over 300 employees, and stands out thanks to its unique product offering. As a growing Canadian business who designs fashionable and quality products at a reasonable price, BonLook’s story is one of craftsmanship, desire, and passion.
Building her business in Montreal, Sophie started her entrepreneurship journey 8 years ago, when she co-founded BonLook out of her apartment. With heavy regulations in the eyewear industry in Canada, BonLook started as an e-commerce business selling to the United States, where the rules were less restrictive.
In their first year, they made over $200,000 in sales.
