Advisory Councils

Advisory councils help shape the kind of medical education experience you’ll be part of. These groups bring together students, community members, health professionals, and university leaders to make sure your learning is inclusive, community-rooted, and aligned with the realities of healthcare today.

Each council focuses on different areas- like learner feedback, equity and inclusion, Indigenous health, and interprofessional collaboration- so that your voice, and the voices of the communities you'll serve, are reflected in how the School evolves. Current councils include:

  • Learner Advisory Committee
  • EDI & Communities Committee
  • Indigenous Communities Council
  • Interprofessional Education & Collaborative Practice Advisory Council
