We're here to welcome you right with a diverse and inclusive week of events to help support your transition to TMU.
What is Orientation?
Orientation Week takes place one week before classes begin and gives you the chance to connect with other new students, get familiar with your academic program, and get to know your way around campus. Our Orientation Week is designed to meet the needs of all new students. Get excited because Orientation is coming up fast, from Sunday, August 30th to Monday, September 7th, 2026.
What to Expect:
- Every year we offer new events and programs, but every Orientation Week at Toronto Met features:
- Academic program and faculty-specific orientations so incoming students can meet other peers in their program, learn more about faculty-specific resources, and connect with their professors.
- Information about how to access on-campus supports and resources so all new students know how to find what they seek after classes start.
- Tons of engaging performances, concerts, and giveaways!
