Time
12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. ET

Join us for safeTALK Training, a program designed to teach you how to recognize the signs of someone struggling with thoughts of suicide and take meaningful steps to help. In this interactive session, you’ll learn:

  • How to identify invitations for help.
  • How to ask directly about suicide.
  • Where to connect someone with the resources they need.

Food will be provided. Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the workshop.

TMU is committed to supporting the Mental Health and well-being of all members of the campus community. Past data has highlighted significant disparities in mental health experiences between different groups within the TMU community. In response to this and in line with our equity-driven approach, priority registration will be given to students who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. Any remaining spots will be offered to all students on a first-come, first-served basis. This approach aims to provide equitable access to suicide prevention resources and contribute to building suicide-safer communities at TMU.
