Farid Amarshi CPA

Farid Amarshi is a Chartered Professional Accountant and the founder of Victoria Village Group, an organization he established in Ontario in 1983. Over four decades, VVG has quietly grown into a respected institution encompassing licensed childcare, private Montessori schools, and a portfolio of real estate in the educational space built on an unwavering foundation of integrity, fiscal discipline, and a genuine belief in the transformative power of education.

That belief extends well beyond Ontario's borders. Through Victoria Village Group, Farid has directed philanthropic investment to Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, where VVG's support established both the Zeena & Farid Amarshi Family Cardiac Care Centre and the Child Development Centre, bringing vital cardiac and early intervention services to families across East Toronto. Internationally, in partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation, VVG established childcare programs and built a school in Tajikistan, and through a partnership with SOS Children's Villages, delivered early childhood education to teachers and built a school in Uganda. Each initiative reflects a conviction that access to quality care and learning should not be a privilege.

Farid is a Founding Member of the Family Business Institute at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University, where he lends decades of entrepreneurial leadership and governance experience to the study and advancement of family enterprise.
