Monica Di Zio

Monica Di Zio is a marketing and innovation leader with over 15 years of experience shaping organizational culture, brand strategy, and tenant engagement in the commercial real estate industry. As Director of Marketing and Innovation and Partner at Crown Property Management Inc., she drives initiatives that connect people, purpose, and performance- advancing collaboration, client experience, and growth across Crown’s 10 million square foot portfolio.

With a foundation in Human Resources Management, Monica has led programs that strengthen internal communication and foster cross-functional alignment, including spearheading Crown’s Customer Service Journey, designed to enhance collaboration and responsiveness across teams. Her leadership reflects a people-first approach- bridging strategy, innovation, and culture to create meaningful impact for both employees and clients.

Monica has contributed to several projects recognized with industry awards, including the VTS Innovation Award and NAIOP Lease of the Year, where she played a key role in implementation and communications strategy.

Active in the professional community, she serves on Toronto Metropolitan University’s Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour Advisory Council, NAIOP’s Programs Committee, and has previously held leadership roles with CoreNet Global Canada and is the former Chair of NAIOP’s Mentorship Committee. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from York University, and executive certifications in Digital Marketing, Strategic Leadership, and Emotional Intelligence from the Schulich Executive Education Centre.
