A graduate of SID, Drew holds professional degrees in ID and Architecture. He teaches in the design studios and has been at SID since 2000. 

Current work explores the role of physical media in a growing digital world. Interests include alternative graphic media and subcultures, active transportation, sustainability, and the public realm.

Other research interests include:
Drawing, illustration, cartooning, game design, incremental design, sustainability, physical media, active transportation, public realm.

Currently a PhD candidate working on the intersections of alternative comics and homebrew retro gaming subcultures. The graphic novel Glideology (published 2026) by ORO Editions is now available. 

A recipient of two teaching awards.
