Omar Nusrat
Omar Nusrat is a PhD student in the CAMPEP Medical Physics program at Toronto Metropolitan University and a doctoral researcher in the Kolios Lab at St. Michael’s Hospital. His research is focused on developing novel detection methods using photoacoustics.
Previously, he completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and Master of Applied Science in Nuclear Engineering, both from Ontario Tech University.
Omar also currently serves as the Canadian Representative to the International Radiation Protection Association, and as the Biodelivery Systems Student Research Lead at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Technology (iBEST).
