Maya Atlas

Maya Atlas is currently completing a PhD in clinical psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University and Remedy Institute. Maya’s doctoral research explores MDMA-assisted couples therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder. Her research and clinical interests include psychedelic-assisted therapy, positive psychology, health psychology, trauma, spirituality and holistic well-being. Maya has completed placements in clinical and health psychology at the Women’s Health Concerns Clinic and Firestone Sleep Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, St. Michael’s Hospital, and is training at the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Clinic and Transitional Pain Service at Toronto General Hospital. She is passionate about improving healthcare and understanding factors that extend beyond symptom reduction to improve quality of life.
