General Town Hall (Virtual)

The Strategic Research Plan (SRP) articulates the university’s key research themes, which represent Toronto Metropolitan University’s (TMU) strengths and reflect the diverse scholarly, research, and creative (SRC) activity taking place across the institution. Guided by a Steering Committee, the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) is now developing a new 2025–2030 Strategic Research Plan.

We invite all university community members to review the draft 2025–2030 Strategic Research Plan and share your thoughts, suggestions and questions. Your input is essential to ensure that the final plan reflects the aspirations and priorities of our SRC community. The draft will be available for feedback from May 15, 2024, to June 14, 2024. The SRP Steering Committee will carefully consider all comments received through the revision and finalization process.

You can find the draft 2025–2030 Strategic Research Plan, consultation questions and information about the Strategic Research Plan Development on the OVPRI website.

A calendar invitation with the Zoom link will be sent upon registration.

Email the Steering Committee at SRP@torontomu.ca with comments or questions.
