Biography

Richard McMaster has taught many courses at Toronto Metropolitan University in the School of Professional Communication and Department of English. He has also been an administrator at the University of Toronto, a technical writer, and a middle school teacher in Japan.

Richard is interested in technology and pedagogy and recently presented on Twitter as a student engagement tool in large lecture classes. He is also interested and involved in developing online delivery of course materials. Richard is currently investigating popular cultural communication practices and their relationship to and influence on forms of professional communication.
