Dr. Eva Woyzbun

Eva Woyzbun has been teaching in the School of Professional Communication since 2015. Her teaching focuses on workplace communication skills in contemporary contexts. Her research investigates the afterlives of digital technology; specifically, the ways in which digital materials become problematic or reinvigorated at the end of their useful life. Her research also examines notions of smart homes, digital waste, and AI and its impact on knowledge, skills, and professional adaptability. Eva earned her BA from the University of Toronto in Semiotics and Communication, and an MA and PhD in Communication and Culture from the Joint York-TMU Programme in Communication and Culture.
