Although research in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) has grown, there remain significant issues. Radials, a customizable mobile communication device for users with speech and mobility disabilities, integrates machine learning and context-sensitive technologies to provide novel ways for single-switch users to access communication structures used in typical conversations.
