Associate Dean, Programs

The Associate Dean, Programs, works closely with the Vice-Provost and Dean to manage the graduate component of the institutional quality assurance process (IQAP), mandated by the Quality Council. This includes supporting graduate programs through the Periodic Program Review Process (Policy 126), new program development (Policy 112) and curriculum modifications (Policy 127). The Associate Dean collaborates with various graduate stakeholders to maintain overall compliance with the Quality Assurance Framework of the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance.
About Dr. Heather Rollwagen
A Sociology professor and graduate program director of the Policy Studies PhD program, Dr. Rollwagen serves on the Academic Standards Committee, the Senate Appeals Committee and as faculty advisor for co-operative education for the Faculty of Arts. Dr. Rollwagen previously served as the Sociology undergraduate program director, as well as on various TMU committees, including the Senate Teaching and Learning Committee, the Standing Strong (Mash Koh Wee Kah Pooh Win) Task Force and as a Faculty of Arts senator.
