Abroad

Exchange provides an enriching opportunity for academic and cultural immersion. Participating students have the chance to spend the Winter Semester of their Second Year at a partner university, broadening their understanding of literature and language in a different cultural context. Exchange fosters cross-cultural communication, hones language skills, and allows students to engage with diverse perspectives. Beyond the academic benefits, students often develop a global mindset, make lasting international connections, and gain a deeper appreciation for the cultural nuances that influence literature. The exchange program not only enhances students' academic journeys but also contributes to their personal growth and prepares them for a globalized and interconnected world.

My semester abroad took place in Nijmegen at Radboud University in the Netherlands! It was interesting to live in a country that I had never even visited before, but definitely worth it and so much fun! Between classes and schoolwork I travelled, spent time with new friends, and indulged in Dutch culture (primarily french fries and mayo). Studying abroad was such a great experience and I’m so grateful for that opportunity.
