About Ketan Marballi

Ketan Marballi

Postdoctoral and Graduate Student Professional Development Specialist

Ketan Marballi (he/him) is our new postdoctoral and graduate student professional development specialist, who will be supporting both these populations with their career and professional development.

Ketan is a research scientist turned career practitioner. Hailing from Mumbai India, Ketan did his BSc and MSc from University of Mumbai. He holds a PhD in cellular and structural biology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and postdoctoral training from UT Austin and University of Arizona, College of Medicine. His research (external link)  focused on the molecular pathways involved in psychiatric, addiction, and neurodevelopmental disorders. His passion (external link)  for helping students transition into fulfilling careers has enabled him to write for University Affairs (external link)  and Inside higher ed (external link)  and be a guest speaker at national career conferences for students.
