Medical Centre

Health appointments for all current TMU students, staff, and faculty, including services such as physicals, mental health assessments, assessments for common medical problems, immunizations, and medical certificates.

Please note:

  • The medical centre is not an emergency facility.
  • Appointments are required and you must register with the medical centre prior to making an appointment. Visit the appointments page for more information on how to book an appointment.
  • Students must have their health insurance card (OHIP, UHIP or Provincial Health Card) to see a health practitioner.
  • International students can visit International Student Support (ISS) to learn more about UHIP.

  • Allergy shots
  • Assessments for common medical problems (e.g. respiratory illness, urinary tract infection, back and muscle pain, headache, stomach issues etc.).
  • Immunizations and TB skin testing
  • Medical certificates
  • Mental health assessments
  • Cervical Cancer Screening
  • Physicals
  • Reproductive health issues (e.g. birth control counselling and prescription, pregnancy etc.).
  • Testing for sexually transmitted infections
  • Gender Affirming Care

Types of appointments

  • Short appointments (<10 minutes)
  • Intermediate appointments (<20 minutes)
  • Periodic health examination
  • Mental health appointment (20-50 minutes)
  • Prescription renewals
