What's Available?

Student Success & Career-Readiness Centre

The Student Success Centre provides Creative School students with a holistic approach to their post-secondary experience, with academic and career support, health and wellness support, and extracurricular activities.

Mentorship

The Creative School offers mentorship opportunities to help students successfully transition into their post-secondary careers. There are 2 mentorship streams: 

1. One-to-One Mentorship

This program pairs individual students with industry professionals whose experience aligns with the student’s career goals. Mentors provide personalized guidance, career insights, and support as students prepare for the next stage of their professional journey.

2. Group Mentorship & Networking

This program brings together groups of students to connect with multiple professionals from a specific industry. Participants gain exposure to diverse perspectives, expand their networks, and learn about a range of career paths and opportunities.

The Society of The Creative School (external link) 

The Creative School’s own student-led society that represents all full-time undergraduate students within The Creative School at TMU, with groups, organizations, publications, and events. Among other resources, The Society of the Creative School provides funding for student-led extra-curricular projects.

Innovation Hubs

Innovation Hubs create an opportunity for you to learn and work alongside industry leaders and access cutting edge technology, helping you develop your skills and prepare for the workforce. There are a variety of hubs to choose from, including the Creative AI Hub, Red Bull Gaming Hub, Creative Enterprise Hub, Design + Technology LAB, Catalyst, Saagajiwe, and Chrysalis.

Upskill Professional Development

Upskill provides workshops and professional development opportunities for you to learn important and highly sought after skills trending in the industry.

Internships

Many Creative School programs offer internship opportunities for you as a part of your degree. These programs include:

Awards & Bursaries

The Creative School offers program-specific as well as Faculty-wide awards and bursaries that recognize academic success, creative innovation and community engagement. Awards and bursaries are administered through AwardSpring (external link) .
