First Year: Undeclared

During your first year at the School of Business Management, you'll acquire the foundational business knowledge that prepares you to specialize in a major. The curriculum provides you with a general overview of business in society, introduces you to all of the basic business functions, and develops awareness of social, human and economic issues through the introduction of the liberal studies.

How you earn your degree

The business management curriculum provides you with a general overview of business in society, introduces you to all of the basic business functions, and develops awareness of social, human and economic issues through the introduction of the liberal studies. Business management students can use the  Toronto Metropolitian University calendar to see which courses they need to complete their degree, as well as the Academic Advisement Report to track their progress. 

Note: Students planning to enter the Marketing Management Major must obtain a grade of at least 2.67 (B-) in MKT 100.

Program Majors

Students can earn a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a major in one of the following subject areas:
