MyMissionMyRecord

Building on the foundation of the MyHealthMyRecord system, MyMissionMyRecord (MMMR) focuses on Canadian veterans living with chronic pain. This ongoing research project is funded by Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE) (external link, opens in new window) . MMMR is a mobile app to support veterans with documenting, self-reflection, analysis and sharing of their chronic pain journeys through short video self-recordings and annotations followed by analysis and visualizations of these data. These visualizations assist users in finding patterns and gaining insights into their progress and setbacks. The user organizes their recordings into video sets to be analyzed using AI-assisted text reports, word frequency and time-based graphs, and word clouds. These analyses can then be shared with healthcare professionals (HCPs). All data (videos, annotations, visualizations) are owned by the user, with options to control how much is shared.

MyHealthMyRecord (MHMR) is a pain management system using qualitative data. Patients create short audio/video narratives and organise, curate, and share these with others. Visualizations of these narratives provide health care providers with insights into the patient experience between visits, supporting informed decision-making based on the user-generated data.
