Our goal is to help foster community, identity, and a sense of belonging to campus and to assist you in navigating the various systems at TMU.
2026 Bold, Beautiful & Brilliant Speaking Engagement

Join TMU’s third annual Bold, Beautiful, and Brilliant Black History Month event as we honour keynote speaker Mark Harrison — entrepreneur, sports business leader and changemaker. Harrison will share insights on how to leverage sport as a platform for impact, leadership, equity and lasting legacy.
Black Student Lounge Events
In addition to providing a safe space for TMU Black community members, the Black Student Lounge (BSL) is used to host events. The Black Student Success team collaborates across the university to deliver regular programming in the BSL.

The Black Excellence Mixer is an intentional space for Black students, faculty and staff to connect and to celebrate TMU's thriving Black community.
