What does it mean to be a Black TMU grad?

I'm proud to follow the path of the midwives who came before me, and to have a small role in the lives of current and future generations.

What advice do you have for other Black students at TMU?

Black students are easily isolated from critical resources that support our success. Allow yourself the levity to be a student and ask all the questions. Seek out mentorship within your field. Utilize available resources, and connect with people within your faculty and on campus. Remember, it doesn't need to be done alone.
