Advancing Smart, Low-Carbon Buildings Through Applied Research

BEACON brings together a portfolio of applied research initiatives that advance Cognitive Digital Twins, building performance, and decarbonization at scale. Each project addresses a critical aspect of how buildings are designed, operated, and improved over time.

Together, these initiatives bridge research and implementation. They generate the tools, frameworks, and evidence needed to support better decisions across building portfolios, accelerate decarbonization, and improve outcomes for both occupants and operators.

Through collaboration with industry partners, policy-makers, and institutions, BEACON projects are tested in real-world environments and designed to scale.
