This 1-hour workshop on the Library’s new database Mintel, including hands-on experience finding answers to questions such as:

  • Which generation is most likely to have an Amazon Prime account in Canada?
  • What types of food and drinks do Canadians have the most environmental concerns about?
  • Who places more trust in AI to make a medical diagnosis, single men or single women?

About Mintel:
Mintel Reports provides detailed information on people's values, beliefs, and activities, information on types of consumers, and more. It includes detailed analysis and information collected from Canadian and American surveys and research. It is useful for entrepreneurs gauging interest in their product, figuring out who their target market should be, and the beliefs and behaviours of their target market.
This database was just added to the Library's collection this year, and underwent a significant update right after being added.
