Join us for a Bioplastic Jewelry workshop, a fantastic opportunity to explore the exciting world of accessible biomaterial development. In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to create fun and functional items, such as jewelry and accessories, using compostable DIY materials.

Facilitated by a creative researcher specializing in synthetic biology for sustainable futures, this workshop will provide an introduction to bioplastics and their diverse applications. With a variety of test samples on hand, you’ll have the chance to experiment and create unique pieces, making this a fun and eco-friendly way to unwind and craft cool things with friends.

Come relax, get creative, and discover the potential of sustainable materials in a chill and inspiring environment.

🤝 Cost: Sliding scale payment starting at $10.00 or more, payable by cash at the door or card via the DFZ's payment portal (external link)  (recommended amount: $20.00). Admittance is free of charge for all active Zone members.
