Curricular Fabrication Partnerships at the DFZ

The DFZ Workshop is excited to support your coursework with digital fabrication resources! This webpage provides all the essential information you'll need to work with us this term.
We offer support for the following equipment:
- Laser Cutting (in-house)
- 3D Printing (in-house)
- Vinyl Cutting (in-house)
- Flatbed UV Ink Printing (via the Design + Technology Lab)
When producing work through a curricular partnership, students are required to be present during fabrication whenever possible and reasonable. Each type of equipment has specific limitations and parameters to help manage the team's workload, outlined below. If your project requires work beyond these parameters, we encourage you to contact the DTL directly through their Service Bureau or Project Requests Portal.
This page is intended as a reference after your tour of the DFZ facilities and demonstrations of the available technologies. Below, you'll find detailed fabrication instructions, helpful resources, and contact information.
