This beginner-friendly, hands-on recorded workshop provides a practical introduction to conducting and interpreting three of the most commonly used statistical analyses in health research—t-tests, chi-square tests of association, and Pearson correlation—using SPSS. Working through a realistic synthetic cardiac rehabilitation dataset and clinical case study, participants will learn how to import and manage data, navigate the SPSS interface, and select the appropriate statistical test based on their research question and variable types.
What You'll Learn:
- Navigate and manage data in SPSS
- Select the appropriate statistical test for your research question
- Conduct and interpret Pearson correlations, independent and paired
- t-tests, and chi-square tests
- Understand and interpret SPSS output
Participants will receive access to the recorded SPSS workshop for three weeks, along with a link to an online quiz.
To earn a Certificate of Completion, participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the quiz.
