We celebrate and support equity-deserving students by building a vibrant, inclusive and empowered community. Whether you identify as Indigenous, Black, racialized, 2SLGBTQ+, a student with a disability or come from another underrepresented background, your perspective is vital, and your presence matters.

Here are some of the top awards and financial supports available to support your success:
Kenvue Award for BIPOC Students
$10,000 award for Business Management students who self-identify as Black, Indigenous or racialized.
CPA Ontario Foundation Bursaries
$7,500 each for Indigenous and Black students in Accounting or Finance.
CIBC Co-op Award: Equity & Excellence
$2,000 to cover co-op fees for 75 equity-deserving students.
TRSS Indigenous Student Award
$1,250 awarded by the Ted Rogers Students' Society.
Law & Business Advisory Council Indigenous Award
$2,000 for the top Indigenous student in LAW 122.

The Ted Rogers School responds to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action #92 through meaningful partnerships and support for Indigenous students. Our Indigenous Welcome Initiative includes:
Inclusive admissions
Students who self-identify on the OUAC application are carefully considered and provided with pathway options if we are unable to make an offer of admission.
Early community connection
From the time of application, through the confirmation and deposit process, and into the first semester of school, Indigenous students will be connected to current students who can assist with questions and making connections.
Scholarships and awards
In addition to our awards available to all students. There are several awards designated for Indigenous students through AwardSpring (external link, opens in new window) .

Black Student Success & Engagement (BSSE)
Offers community programs, peer mentoring and the Black Student Lounge.
Anti-Black Racism Awareness Committee (ABRAC)
Campus-wide initiative hosting panels, healing circles and community events.
