Simon Mass
With over 25 years of real estate investment and asset management experience, Simon has been a lead player in the real estate investment sector in Canada and internationally, specifically the pre-construction condominium space. Simon has amassed over $24 billion in investment transactions during his tenure as CEO of The Condo Store Group of Companies (TCS).
With its origins dating back to 2004 when Simon co-founded a ten-person boutique firm, TCS has now evolved into the premier “go to firm” for private and family office investors. With over 300 sophisticated, high-net-worth clients from around the globe, TCS is often the voice for the sector in the media. Over the years, TCS-led investments have spread from pre-construction condominiums to a wide range of private equity investments in the real estate industry under the watchful eye of Simon.
Simon’s long-standing relationships with leading developers continues to fuel TCS’s investment engine. Simon has long-term relationships with hundreds of clients across Canada that account for $500M to $1 billion in consistent annual investments in the pre-construction condominium sector which continues to be one of the highest grossing investment vehicles over the past 28 years in Toronto.
Simon has an undergraduate Manufacturing Engineering and Management degree from the University of Bath (U.K.) and holds an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Simon is passionate about the community as well as marine life, being involved with and creating donor programs for many philanthropic and educational organizations, including the SickKids Hospital Foundation, the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation, the St. Michael's Hospital cardiac department, the Pinball Clemons Foundation, Lonely Whale, and through University scholarship programs at Toronto Metropolitan University, Schulich and the University of Guelph.
