Sacha Fraser

Sacha Fraser has been Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at LCBO since joining in August 2021.  She leads a team of legal and procurement professionals.  Simplification and business acceleration initiatives are priority for Sacha and her team.

Prior to LCBO, Sacha was General Counsel and Corporate secretary at IBM Canada for 4 years.  She led a team of Global Markets lawyers with an extended team of professionals in IP/Brand, Privacy/AI, Corporate Security, Trust & Compliance, and Government Relations. 

Sacha previously worked at Xerox Canada for 21 years in roles including Chief Legal Officer and Chief Privacy Officer. She also held 3 different business executive positions at Xerox, allowing her to draw on a depth of experience leading people and functions such as workforce strategy, channel operations and project management of complex IT sales and delivery.

Prior to her in-house career, Sacha spent 10 years at McCarthy Tetrault in litigation.

Sacha is an active member of Women’s General Counsel of Canada, Access Privacy and Technation. She is a frequent speaker/panellist with organizations such as Legal Innovation Forum and Counselwell.  Volunteer activities include Girls E-Mentorship and Lawsuits Charity in support of Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Sacha received her BA in Mathematics and her LLB from Queen’s University. She holds additional accreditations/certifications in mediation (Law Society of Upper Canada), finance (Ivey), project management (ITIL) and Lean Six Sigma (green belt).
