Sociology does not prepare students for one particular job or career, but rather fosters knowledge and skills that can be applied in many different types of employment.

Research Skills: Sociologists use various research methods (such as interviews, archival research or survey research) to examine issues and find answers. We know how to create meaningful change.

Critical Problem Solving: In order to tackle complex social issues, it's essential to be able to think critically, and to communicate your ideas effectively. We know how to put solutions into action.
