Maria Becerra Gomez

Maria Becerra is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for wound care at Sinai Health and is completing the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about developing and implementing education for nurses and other members of the interprofessional team, as well as leading multiple quality improvement initiatives and research to drive practice changes. Maria began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Orthopaedic and Neurology department eight years ago. During her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her Labrador and spending time with family and friends.
