Maisoon D. Yousif

Maisoon D. Yousif is a fourth-year medical student at Dalhousie University. She is passionate about empowering racialized and underserved groups. As someone who entered medical school through Community of Support, she has seen how impactful community and intentional efforts to increase diversity in medicine can be. Maisoon hopes to bring her intersectional identity and experiences as a medical trainee to this advisory committee and hopes to learn from fellow committee members to expand upon skills and institutional knowledge that she can carry on throughout her career as a physician and educator.
